For the month of September 2020, BTS again topped the boy groups’ brand reputation rankings with overwhelming power, followed by EXO and SEVENTEEN.
The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation revealed the Brand Reputation Rankings for Boy Groups in September after having garnered 48,979,150 data from August 11, 2020 to September 11, 2020 through consumer behavior analysis, and measured the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index of boy group’ brands. Compared to 40,137,953 data in August, the figure increased by 22.03%.
The result showed that BTS (RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) had a brand reputation index of 17,700,138, with a participation index of 3,764,112, media index of 5,337,856, communication index of 4,445,056, and community index of 4,153,114. Compared to August, it increased by 98.33%.
As the runner-up, EXO (Suho, Chanyeol, Kai, D.O., Chen, Baekhyun, Sehun, Xiumin, Lay) had a brand reputation index 2,271,119, with a participation index of 290,224, media index of 666,624, communication index of 960,216, and community index of 354,054. Compared to August, it decreased by 10.02%.
At the third place, SEVENTEEN (S.COUPS, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, Dogyeom, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) had a brand reputation index of 2,135,606, with a participation index of 401,192, media index of 398,848, communication index of 851,871, and community index of 483,694. Compared to August, it increased by 19.77%.
