Bela Padilla continues to prove to the public that she has a kind heart when it comes to ordinary citizens of the Philippines. KAMI learned that the gorgeous actress has raised more than 3.3 million pesos for street vendors who are affected by the enhanced community quarantine. The award-winning celebrity is aware that since the movement of people in mainland Luzon is limited, many street vendors have no customers. Bela believes that these vendors need help so she willingly started a fundraiser to give assistance to those in need. The initial target of the fundraiser was just 1 million pesos, but the “Meet Me in St. Gallen” star revealed that someone donated 2 million pesos. She also mentioned in a social media post that she has been looking for the best agreements for the food to be given to the street vendors. “I was just woken up by a call. Somebody donated 2 million pesos. We are now at 3.3M pesos,” she stated. “Today is all about organizing. Quick thank yous to all the people willing to help so far. Pia Campos, Matteo Guidicelli, Anton Capistrano (I am relying heavily on your trucks right now). Landers grocery, Ligo Sardines. THANK YOU,” she also wrote. Bela and her team will be distributing the food packs to their beneficiaries anytime soon. In a previous article by KAMI, Bela clapped back at a netizen who told her to wear a face mask. Bela Padilla is one of the most acclaimed actresses in the Philippines. She already starred in many films including “100 Tula Para kay Stella” and “The Day After Valentine’s.”
