1. Beyond Evil

While responding to comments in 2021, Jennie mentioned that she had been watching the K-Drama Beyond Evil more than once. She even requested that no one spoil the drama for her!

2. Notting Hill

In a special interview with Vogue Korea, Jennie discussed many of her interests including her favorite movie at the time, Notting Hill.

Notting Hill is a 1997 film starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts where Grant stars as an average man who ends up in a whirlwind romance with a famous actress played by Roberts.

3. Stranger Things

Netflix lover, Jennie has talked about her love of the original series, Stranger Things more than once. During a live stream, she once said she was waiting for the newest season to be released by rewatching the series!

 

The cast has even directly interacted with Jennie! Finn Wolfhard delivered a sweet message to Jennie as part of the show’s A Surprise Gift from ‘Stranger Things’ for Their Fans All Around the World special and the cast sent Jennie a bunch of Christmas presents!

 

 

Stranger Things is about a group of friends who discover that their small town of Hawkins has some supernatural secrets. There is another world within our world, the Upside Down, full of malicious creatures that cross into Hawkins over the course of four thrilling seasons.

During the same live stream where she mentioned binge-watching Stranger Things, Jennie also talked about the HBO series, Game of Thrones.

Jennie has mentioned she watched The Vampire Diaries “all the time” when she was in her trainee days at YG Entertainment.

 

 

Vampire Diaries follows the life of a teenage girl who has just lost both parents in a car accident as she falls in love with a 162-year-old vampire and stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley.

Money Heist (also known as La Casa De Papel) is another Netflix series that Jennie has recommended to fans.

Money Heist is a Spanish heist drama that follows the Professor and his team as they prepare to pull off the heist of the century. It has since been adapted into a Korean version.

It’s no surprise that Jennie has recommended this series as one of her best friends, Jung Ho Yeon stars in it.
