The Pinkprint is her third studio album by Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj. It was made available for customers to purchase on December 12, 2014 by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Republic Records. Minaj co-executive-produced the record alongside Birdman, Lil Wayne and Ronald Williams, and the assistance of a variety of fellow producers.
Upon its release, The Pinkprint received generally favorable reviews from music critics, with many of them applauding the album's production. The album debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 with 244,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, of which 198,000 were pure sales.
In the United Kingdom, The Pinkprint opened at number 22 on the UK Albums Chart. As of December 2015, the record has sold 682,000 pure copies in the United States and has since been certified 2× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) by adding streaming and track sales equivalent.
