For the first time since its premiere, “My Demon” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “My Demon” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its stars also swept the top two spots on this week’s list of the most buzzworthy drama cast members. Song Kang climbed to No. 1, while Kim Yoo Jung followed close behind at No. 2.
MBC’s “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” rose to No. 2 on the drama list, while leads Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk climbed to No. 3 and No. 5 respectively on the actor list.
KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” took No. 3 on this week’s drama list, and star Choi Soo Jong ranked No. 10 on the actor list.
JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri” climbed to No. 4 on the drama list, with leads Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook ranking No. 7 and No. 8 respectively on the actor list.
KBS 2TV’s “The Matchmakers” came in at No. 5 on the drama list, while star Rowoon took No. 9 on the actor list this week.
Finally, tvN’s new drama “Maestra: Strings of Truth” and its leading lady Lee Young Ae swept the No. 6 spot on both lists.
