“My Demon” has unveiled an array of captivating characters that surround Kim Yoo Jung!

“My Demon” is a fantasy rom-com about the contractual marriage between Do Do Hee, a demon-like chaebol heiress who doesn’t trust anyone (played by Kim Yoo Jung), and Jung Gu Won, an actual demon who unexpectedly loses his powers (played by Song Kang).

On November 13, the production team of the upcoming Friday-Saturday drama revealed the tense Mirae Group’s family dinner.

The newly released stills pique curiosity about Do Do Hee’s role in the family as she is being treated as a stranger amongst the children of Mirae Group’s chairwoman Joo Cheon Sook (Kim Hae Sook). The palpable tension during the family gathering where each member conceals their desires and hidden intentions, heightens viewers’ curiosity about their narratives, dynamics, and the story behind Do Do Hee becoming a part of the family.

Amidst the enemies surrounding Do Do Hee, she finds solace in reliable allies. Lee Sang Yi portrays Joo Seok Hoon, Joo Cheon Sook’s nephew and the CEO of Mirae Investments. He is the only person among Joo Cheon Sook’s family with whom Do Do Hee shares a sense of belonging and connection. His warm, humane, and free-spirited demeanors are reflected in his smile. While he’s Do Do Hee’s reliable ally who genuinely worries and cares for her, the unexpected entrance of Gu Won into Do Hee’s life triggers a subtle change in his heart.

Chairwoman Joo Cheon Sook, who led the Mirae Group to become a top-tier conglomerate with her bare hands, is portrayed by Kim Hae Sook. Eccentric yet irresistibly charming, chairwoman Joo exudes a unique charisma even just by her gaze. Do Do Hee relies on chairwoman Joo more than anyone else, and chairwoman Joo holds Do Do Hee dear in special regard, choosing her over her less trustworthy children. However, even chairwoman Joo harbors a secret that cannot be spoken.

The characters on the opposing side of Do Do Hee add another layer of intrigue. Kim Tae Hoon portrays Noh Seok Min, the eldest son of Joo Cheon Sook and the CEO of Mirae Electronics, while Jo Yeon Hee takes on the role of his wife Kim Se Ra, who conceals her true nature behind a social facade. Having lost the trust of chairwoman Joo in the past, Noh Seok Min continues to feign obedience as the dutiful eldest son. Kang Seung Ho steps into the shoes of their son Noh Do Kyung, the general manager at Mirae Electronics. Despite projecting an almost invisible presence, he harbors a reservoir of suppressed anger and undergoes a sudden transformation when confronted by someone weaker.

Lee Yoon Ji takes on the role of Joo Cheon Sook’s daughter Noh Soo An, the CEO of Mirae Apparel. Nicknamed Paris Soo An, she lives in her own Parisian world. Despite portraying an image of elegance and sophistication, her true colors shine through when she deals with her mischievous twin sons. Finally, Seo Jeong Yeon portrays Do Hee’s reliable secretary Ms. Shin. While often resembling an AI, she proves to be Do Hee’s loyal companion, capable of grasping Do Hee’s inner thoughts with just a glance. Despite maintaining a clear boundary between work and personal life, her chemistry with Do Do Hee ensures delightful laughter and adds humor to the series.

The production team shared, “The storyline surrounding the Mirae Group family and the succession battle for chairwoman Joo Cheon Sook is another crucial element to anticipate in the drama. We hope viewers anticipate the exciting story of how Do Do Hee becomes entangled with these characters.”

“My Demon” will premiere on November 24 at 10 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
