According to an industry insider on September 23, BTS recently finished a pre-recording at Gyeongbokgung Palace regarding their appearance on NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'. It is reported that the filming took place in the late afternoon.
It is meaningful that BTS, who are raising K-Pop's pride by leading the Korean Wave in North America, filmed at Gyeongbokgung Palace, South Korea's cultural heritage No. 117 and one of the most popular tourist attractions of the country. Along with BTS's performance, Korean cultural assets will also be broadcast on popular U.S. television networks.
The film will be sent to the 'BTS Week' on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', which runs for five days from September 28 to October 2. BTS will perform different songs every day for five days, including their English digital single 'Dynamite', which was released on the 21st of last month. The boys will also meet fans around the world through special corners and interviews.
BTS grabbed No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 'Dynamite' on September 5, and topped the chart on September 12, maintaining its No. 1 spot for the second consecutive week. For the latest chart (as of September 26), the song also ranked second, maintaining its craze for a month.
