BLACKPINK continues to be in talks with YG Entertainment for their contract renewal.

On November 20, Munhwa Ilbo reported that BLACKPINK will be continuing to promote together as a group under YG Entertainment but that the individual members will not be renewing their exclusive contracts with YG.
In response to the report, a source from YG Entertainment clarified, “Nothing is confirmed, and we are in discussion.”
Previously in September, YG Entertainment released a follow-up statement after a series of announcements stating that they are still in talks for contract renewal with BLACKPINK.
BLACKPINK’s previous contracts with YG Entertainment expired earlier in August.
