On May 5, Oh My Girl appeared on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon” to talk about a variety of topics.
When asked how they felt when their song topped music streaming charts, Oh My Girl said, “When we saw that we were at No. 1, we couldn’t believe it. We’ve been taking screenshots every day.” The members also shared how their personalities differ when it comes to streaming and album sales. Seunghee said Arin and Hyojung check chart rankings the most, with Hyojung checking album sales as well. YooA said she prefers to not check rankings in order to enjoy the performances more, while Mimi said, “I don’t go searching for it, I only know about things when other people tell me.”
Kim Shin Young remarked that Oh My Girl’s styling had changed a lot for their “Nonstop” activities and asked which member they felt fit the new styling the best. Mimi said, “The overall style takes a lot of inspiration from high teen looks. Our opinion of who fits the styling the best changes every day.” Kim Shin Young added, “I think that’s why Oh My Girl is a long-running group. Every day, a different member catches your eye.”
Oh My Girl also took the time to express their gratitude to fellow singers who have shown their support. Hyojung said, “IU always takes such good care of us whenever we see each other. She’s going to be releasing her new song ‘Eight‘ tomorrow so please show it your love.” Jiho mentioned AOA’s Seolhyun and Jimin and said, “Jimin always monitors our stages. She told me recently that I look so pretty with my hair up. Seolhyun posts about us on her Instagram stories, we love them so much.”
Oh My Girl is currently busy with promotional activities for their latest comeback title track “Nonstop.”
