Singer and actress IU has made a 100 million won donation to the Green Umbrella Child Fund in celebration of Children's Day.
The foundation announced about IU's goodwill on May 4. The star's donation will be spent on paying tuition and living expenses for children from low-income families.
IU has been continuing her good deeds since 2015 with continuous donations to the Green Umbrella Child Fund Korea. So far, IU has sponsored a total of 820 million won through this foundation.
IU has steadily practiced good influence since her debut, and was honored on the list of 30 'Asia’s 2019 Heroes Of Philanthropy' by Forbes, a U.S. business magazine, last year.
