MONSTA X Shownu and Minhyuk will have their first duet as the lend their voices for the OST of web drama 'She's My Type'.
Shownu and Minhyuk have recently been selected as the next singers for the OST of 'She's My Type' and finished recording their duet. "Shownu and Minhyuk sang the OST together. The release date is currently undecided," their company said in a statement.
This will be Shownu's first OST in nine years, since the OST 'Now We Know Why' of the drama 'Protect the Boss' (2011), which was released before MONSTA X's debut. Meanwhile, Minhyuk will participate in an OST for the first time ever. Even within MONSTA X, the collaboration between the two is something new, so it's raising a lot of expectations.
'She's My Type' is a web drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name. With a rating of 9.9 and accumulated 200 million views in Daum's Webtoon, it has been completed to season 2 with the steady love of readers.
Previously, B1A4 Sandeul, Gray, and Super Junior Kyuhyun participated in the OST for the series. With the addition of MONSTA X Shownu and Minhyuk, a stronger lineup has been established.
