Actor Kim Myung Soo, also known as L from boy group INFINITE, will fulfill his military duty as a member of the Marine Corps.

"Kim Myung Soo will join the Marine Corps at the end of February 2021," an official from his agency Management Esang said in a telephone conversation with Dispatch on December 28.
Kim Myung Soo volunteered to join the army. The official said, "Kim Myung Soo himself wanted to go to the Marine Corps, so he applied himself."
It is unlikely that the event will be held separately. "He will enter the army quietly due to the COVID-19 outbreak," the official said.
Instead, he will give surprise gifts for their fans. The agency said, "Kim Myung Soo has prepared an event for his fans."
Kim Myung Soo is currently filming KBS-2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Secret Royal Inspector'. He will focus on filming until he joins the army.
Meanwhile, 'The Secret Service' is a mystery investigative comedy drama. It depicts Sung Gyeom (played by Kim Myung Soo), a secret investigator of the royal court during the Joseon Dynasty, who tries to unveil corruption.
