KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Secret Royal Inspector', which will premiere on the afternoon of December 21, has released a new teaser video a week before its first broadcast, raising expectations among prospective viewers.
'Secret Royal Inspector' is a delightful comic mystery drama about the royal secret investigators of the Joseon Dynasty, who eradicate corruption and fight injustice for the people. With a combination of young actors such as Kim Myung-soo (playing Sung Yi Gyeom), Kwon Na Ra (playing Hong Da In), and Lee Yi Kyung (playing Park Chun Sam), the movie is expected to hit the small screen this winter.
The released video show Sung Yi Gyeom's solemn appearance, suggesting an exciting adventure that will be created by the re-emergence of the "Joseon version of Kingsman". Kim Myung Soo declared war by saying, "With this time, we will seal the gates of the government office warehouse and return the taxes we have collected unfairly to the people," showing a righteous secret inspector with a dignified look and a determined voice.
However, the faces of the members in the mission, which is lacking and humane, have been revealed, making viewers burst into laughter. Hong Da In (played by Kwon Na Ra) scolded Sung Yi Gyeom, who had his hands on other people's kimchi, for being pathetic, but she herself unexpectedly have a "kimchi mukbang" at night.
Subsequently, Sung Yi Gyeom and Park Chun Sam (played by Lee Yi Kyung), who are tied up and in a crisis, are desperately looking for each other and crying, which is expected to give them a "crazy" chemistry.
Meanwhile, the confrontation between Park Chun Sam, who protects Hong Da In and Kang Soon Ae (Cho Soo Min) from suspicious swordsmen, is also drawing attention. Park Chun Sam, who was very scared but still bluffed, "I'll lead you to hell," reacts sensitively to the small movements of the swordsmen and makes a fuss, raising questions about how the smooth journey of the members of the secret royal inspectors will unfold.
