Woollim Entertainment said on the morning of March 7 that, "Kim Sung Kyu, a member of INFINITE who has been with us for the past 11 years, has ended his exclusive contract with us after a long discussion ahead of the expiration of the contract."
"Kim Sung Kyu has been doing his best in various fields as the leader of boy group Infinite since 2010," they added. "We would like to express our sincere thanks to Kim Sung Kyu for being with us for a long time, and we will sincerely support your future."

First of all, we want to thank the fans who love and care about INFINITE.
We would like to inform you that INFINITE member Kim Sung Kyu, who has been with us for the past 11 years, has ended his exclusive contract with us at the end of March 6, 2021.
Recently, we discussed with artist Kim Sung Kyu for a long time before the expiration of the exclusive contract and we agreed not to proceed with the contract again.
