According to StarNews on November 24, GHOST9 will release a new album in mid-December and return to their fans. This is a high-speed comeback as it has been only 3 months since their debut in September.
Maroo Entertainment confirmed the information on November 24, saying, "GHOST9 has confirmed their comeback in mid-December. This is an extension of the debut album 'PRE EPISODE 1: DOOR', which features a new episode of GHOST9 that opened its first door." They added, "We've worked hard to prepare for the project since it was planned even before the debut, and we're currently in the middle of last-minute work."
GHOST9 is a nine-member boy group composed of Lee Jin Woo, Lee Woo Jin, Lee Tae Seung, Hwang Dong Jun, Shin, Choi Joon Sung, Lee Kang Sung, Son Joon Hyung and Prince. The boys took their first step in the K-Pop scene with their first mini-album 'PRE EPISODE 1: DOOR' on September 23.
Having held a solo showcase on the day of their debut and announced their splendid start, they were the first K-Pop artists to perform their debut song on the rooftop of the 63 SQUARE building, drawing attention with overwhelming performances.
The group has also made their mark overseas. The debut song 'Think of Dawn' ranked first, second and third on the iTunes K-pop charts in France, Germany and Britain, respectively, shortly after its release. It also ranked fourth on the French iTunes pop chart and also made it to the top of the list in Britain, the United States and Germany.
Their unique worldview, called the "Earth Joint Theory", claiming that the Earth is hollow and that there is an entrance between the polar North and South Poles, has also drawn attention. Expectations are high on what GHOST9 will show through their new album, especially their spectacular stages.
