JYP Entertainment, the agency of 2PM, revealed on April 20 that, "2PM is currently preparing a new album. We will inform you of the exact time later."
According to a source from the music industry, 2PM has been collecting various genres of songs, including the members' own songs. They will make their summer comeback and return as the 'beast idols' they are.
2PM, who was chosen by the YouTube algorithm and led the trend online and offline with the song 'My House' even during their military period, is working hard to make a comeback to repay fans' support. Their entire album is expected to be out in five years since their 6th full-length album 'GENTLEMEN'S GAME' released in September 2016.
"I don't know if I can make a comeback this year, but I'm planning it," Ok Taecyeon said in a pictorial interview last month. "Since there has been a hiatus for more than five years, I am seriously discussing with the members what we can show, so please wait a little longer."
2PM's military "white flag" period ended when member Junho finished his military service on March 20. 2PM quickly started preparing for their comeback to repay fans' love right after that.
This summer, people are curious about what extreme charm 2PM will return to.
