Since BTS announced that they would prioritize their solo activities, Jin has attended multiple movie screenings to support his actor friends. His frequent appearances have even led to suspicions that we may get ‘actor Jin‘ soon.
He also participated in “Bad Decisions” along with the rest of BTS’s vocal line.
And now it seems that Jin has gotten a new, unexpected job which he excitedly took to Instagram to post about.
Jin is a long-time fan of the game MapleStory.
Welcome to MapleStory, the original side-scrolling MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) where epic adventure, action and good friends await you. With hundreds of hours of gameplay, this immersive role-playing experience will allow you to unleash your wild side as you create and train a mighty hero, conquer perilous dungeons, overcome terrifying bosses, socialize with you friends and much more.
In the past, the idol has admitted that the game sometimes affects his eating habits and has even decorated BTS’s trophy room with the characters.
Jin was also granted the opportunity to judge the Golden Hand Awards, MapleStory‘s first character design awards.
And when “Maple Bread” came out, Jin excitedly took part in collecting the different characters.
I went to 15 different convenience stores. I didn’t buy up all the stock [at each place] for the sake of those that come after me. I won’t have to worry about starving for the next three days. Wonky, please appear.
And now Jin is excitedly showing off his employee lanyard for Nexon, the company that owns MapleStory and other PC and mobile games.
I started working at a major company— Jin
Although it’s unclear what role Jin will have at Nexon, fans can eagerly await more updates about his new job.
