Any copyright holder is able to join KOMCA as a “junior member,” but the board of directors chooses 30 junior members each year to promote to the status of “full members.” 27 members are chosen from the mainstream category, while the remaining three are chosen from the non-mainstream category.
This year’s list of those who have been promoted to full members includes BTS’s Jungkook, (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon, SEVENTEEN’s Vernon, BOL4’s Ahn Ji Young, Code Kunst, and Ahn Ye Eun, as well as songwriters 250, VERSACHOI, Lee Seuran, and TOIL.
Congratulations to all the artists!
