The team of 'True Beauty' apologized after being criticized for violating the guidelines for preventing COVID-19 during a group photoshoot.

The producers of tvN drama 'True Beauty' said on February 7, "We followed the quarantine rules thoroughly during the shooting, but we did not wear masks for a while in the last commemorative photo immediately after the shooting, which caused concern to many people."

"We will do our best to make it a safe filming site where no moment of carelessness occurs," he said.

ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, who plays Lee Suho of 'True Beauty', posted a group photo taken with the production team on his SNS on February 5. Many of the staff members in the photo were not wearing masks.

Shortly after the photo was released, controversy over the fact that they did not wear mask erupted. Amid social distancing due to the spread of COVID-19, it was pointed out that it was not appropriate for most of the production team to post photos without masks on SNS.

One netizen said, "We have filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Government regarding the group photo shoot of 'True Beauty'." As a result, the controversy over 'True Beauty' is expected to continue.
