On March 30, PLAYLIST company revealed that, "Yeri and Hongseok are positively considering their appearance on 'Blue Birthday'."
'Blue Birthday' is a fantasy romance thriller about people who have to face past events through mysterious pictures left by a friend who suddenly chose to leave life one day.
The drama is produced by PLAYLIST, a production company known to the 10s and 20s generations as a digital drama master, which produces 'A-TEEN' and 'Love Playlist' series.
RED VELVET Yeri recently proved the possibility of her growth as an actress by turning into Hong Chae Ri, a tough nurse on tvN's 'Drama Stage 2021: Mint Condition'. So, if she accepts the offer, Yeri will expand her filmography through 'Blue Birthday'.
Expectations are high on how PENTAGON Hongseok, who is strengthening his position as an actor through SBS daily drama 'Firebird 2020', MBN drama 'Best Chicken', web dramas 'On the Campus' and 'Anniversary Anyway', will work with Yeri in this new film.
'Blue Birthday' is currently in the preparation stage for filming and will begin production with the aim of airing in the 2nd half of this year.
