An entertainment industry insider revealed on August 27 that, "Park Kyu Young will join the cast of tvN's new drama 'Devil Judge' (written by Moon Yoo Seok, directed by Choi Jung Kyu), which is scheduled to air next year."
'Devil Judge' is the story about of a judge and an associate judge who is curious about his identity, who makes a court into a reality show and severely punishes bad guys. In the drama, two men try to chase, expose and destroy each other, but are attracted to each other in unexpected situations.
Park Kyu Young is expected to play Yoon Soo Hyun, an old friend of Kim Ga On (played by GOT7 Jinyoung). She is an indomitable woman who confesses her love to Ga On five times since kindergarten and never gives up even if she is rejected. She is also Ga On's most loyal friend.
Park Kyu Young is a new actress who made her debut in the tvN drama 'Hey Ghost, Let's Fight' in 2016. The actress made a strong impression on viewers by playing various characters in dramas including JTBC's 'Solomon's Perjury' (2016), SBS' 'Suspicious Partner' (2017), KBS2's 'Queen of Mystery ' (2018), JTBC's 'The Third Charm' (2018), and tvN's 'Romance Is a Bonus Book' (2019).
Most recently, Park Kyu Young played the role of Nam Joo Ri, a seven-year nurse at a decent mental hospital, in tvN's 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay'.
