Birds Of Prey star Margot Robbie has filmed a video for Child Mind Institute’s #WeThriveInside campaign to help fans struggling with anxiety and isolation issues during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. The Australian actress shares tips on what she does to calm down when life becomes a little too much.
Her video went viral on Monday (May 4, 2020), kicking off Mental Health Awareness Month in the U.S. Over the years, several studies have shown that people perform better when they have written down what they need to complete. A study in 2011 stated that just making a plan to complete tasks can reduce anxiety.
Margot Robbie has shared her advice for staying mentally healthy during lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Monday, the Oscar nominated actress starred in a video shared on the Child Mind Institute Instagram account to explain how she’s maintaining a positive mind set during the health crisis.
The organisation is an independent non-profit which works to transform the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders.
Robbie, who is currently in lockdown with her husband Tom Ackerley in Los Angeles, also asked her fans to consider what helps them feel more mentally at ease.
