Recently, the author of the successful book The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown was got in some trouble about having numerous affairs by his ex-wife, Blythe Brown.
The couple was married for 21 years old before coming for a divorce in 2019. Blythe assisted with lots of work going into writing Brown's notable series featuring his character Robert Langdon in the book.
Dan Brown is having a lawsuit by his now ex-wife, who called out that he lived a secret second life throughout their two-decade-long marriage. Blythe asks for credit for inspiring Brown's books and coming up with the premise. She also accused Brown of keeping future projects hidden from her, namely a television series.
Moreover, Blythe also claims that her ex-husband got an affair with an unnamed horse trainer, buying her many gifts and even secretly financially supported her business. The lawsuit reads, "Dan has lived a proverbial life of lies for at least the past six years, seeming to be the epitome of a world-famous novelist leading a simple life in his home state of New Hampshire, while in reality, he was something quite different."
It will be interesting to see the effect if any, these allegations have on Brown's career. Dan Brown is currently a teaches on writing thrillers in Master Class online and has several projects as planned. His kids' book, Wild Symphony, is set to release on September 1, and NBC is currently bringing his book The Lost Symbol into a television series, Langdon.
Dan Brown has published a series of five books starring the symbologist, which began with Angels and Demons in 2000. The series tells the journey of Langdon as he gets wrapped up in different secret societies and solves puzzles based on symbols rooted primarily in Christianity. The series is gaining huge success with three of the books - Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, and Inferno - being brought into feature films with Tom Hanks as the actor.
