Female director Patty Jenkins with Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and Pedro Pascal together appeared at the DC Fandome online event to interact with fans. At the end of the meeting, they both introduced to the audience the second trailer of the blockbuster Wonder Woman 1984.
Through the video, the audience saw Barbara Ann Minerva's transformation into the evil Cheetah. The character played by Kristen Wiig is the main rival of Wonder Woman (Gadot) in the movie.

This is the second trailer of Wonder Woman 1984 after the first one in December 2019. The film should have been released in June but had to delay the schedule until early October due to the outbreak of Covid-19.However, Warner Bros. and the team are not confident about the timing of the release due to the complicated growth of the epidemic. The new trailer of Wonder Woman 1984 does not have a specific release date but only says "only available in theaters" (Only in Cinemas).
Director Patty Jenkins said: "We all worked so hard to bring something that would be a big visual spectacular great time. So we're going to stick it out. We believe in putting it in the cinema, and I can't wait for you all to see more today and I can't wait for the movie to come out soon,". Accordingly, the filmmaker did not sure about October 2nd.
Among the guests interacting with the 1984 Wonder Woman film crew, besides fans, Venus Williams and Lynda Carter - who played the role of Wonder Woman on television in the 1970s - also appeared there to join the fun.
In front of Kristen Wiig's admiration for Carter, she said: "When we meet, will you throw your arms around me?" And after Venus Williams questioned whether Wonder Woman or Cheetah would win in a tennis match, Gadot and Wiig happily arranged the next match on the tennis court. They also admitted that even if paired, they could not win Williams alone.
