According to Variety, superhero Atom Smasher - the main rival of Black Adam - will be played by Noah Centineo. The other actors in the cast have not been revealed yet. According to Dwayne Johnson's storytelling in the teaser, Black Adam will face off against the superheroes Justice Society of America.
According to the DC storyline, the hero group includes the characters Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone and Atom Smasher.
DC's plot makes Black Adam initially a hero named Mighty Adam. However, he slowly deteriorates and becomes a villain. In the first volumes, Black Adam is the Egyptian ancestor of superhero Shazam. He finds the present to challenge his descendants. After that, the DC authors built him on the anti-hero motif, claiming to be his Messiah, and his evil deeds make the world a better place.
