Finding Zac Efron in Australia? Challenge accepted! But the actor has just confirmed that he works somewhere else, NOT Australia.
Rumored was flying that he's settling Down Under for good.
The Hollywood actor shared that although he spent more time in Australia more than expected, the extension wasn't relevant to any movie projects or his role on television.
"He is not there for work," a spokesperson shared as a confirmation for the actor, and it is told that he was there because of personal reasons.
Few months earlier, the Baywatch star has been quietly staying at Byron Bay, the Australian hot-spot for celebrities. As reported, he lived there to escape the unexpected spreading out of the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S.

As one fan spotted the actor enjoying a cup of coffee at the Byron Bay General Store café earlier this month, a giant load of fans girls have been put in a rush to immediately fly to Australia.
In the photos that went viral after being published, the 32-year-old actor was seen embracing a brunette waitress and gave her a friendly goodbye-kiss on her check.

Don't worry, there is nothing intimate going between them, as Zac has confirmed to be in a long-time relationship with Halston Sage, the 26-year-old actress.
Zac Efron is now playing a role in the new Netflix's docu-series called Down to Earth. The project tells the journey of Zac around the world, from France, Puerto Rico to London, Iceland, Costa Rica, Peru and Sardinia. The movie will emphasize the themes of travel, experience in life, nature, environment-friendly energy and sustainable living practices.

During his new interview, Zac hinted about planning his way free from Hollywood in the adventurous movie projects he's been working on for Netflix.
In the fourth episode, Efron admitted that he has "gotta get out of Hollywood" because he is "done" by far with the current lifestyle, which is considered "not conductive" if the actor aimed at a "long, happy, mentally-sound life".
Although, Zac isn't planning to totally flee Hollywood, his decision to choose Australia instead of LA to live through the lockdown somehow showed that he was considering relocating there temporarily.

"I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffocating," he shared his thought.
"We were living shoulder to shoulder in the suburbs and thought that’s not how we want our kids to grow up. Moving to a kind of farm setup back here on the coast in Australia has been the best thing."
