She has naturally clear and glowing skin, but even Hailey Bieber has had to grapple with unflattering pimples. The model, 23, revealed she started developing adult acne this last year after going on birth control.
Hailey opened up about her skincare issues while giving her husband Justin Bieber a facial on the latest episode of their Facebook series, The Biebers On Watch. For Hailey, who ordinarily has a clear complexion, seeing the acne develop felt like "the end of the world."

"Well actually within the last year, I started getting a little bit of onset adult acne too from my IUD because I'd never been on birth control before so my hormones were a little out of balance," she told Justin during his pamper session.
"But for me, and my spot was on my forehead, so from here it would be like a little pattern going here and then up and up," she said, tracing a line across her forehead to demonstrate.
Eventually, Hailey was able to sort out her skincare problems with Spironolactone, a medication used to treat acne in women. "And I never experienced acne like that or pimples like that before. Obviously I was getting it figured out but luckily for me I was able to go on what you call Spironolactone."
