Looking at the result of the poll, digital Spy editor Laurence Mozafari does have something to say: "It's not too hard to see why Game of Thrones has resonated so strongly with the public."
"It was interesting to see to 10 placing for UK shows like Gavin and Stacey which, despite one Christmas special, has not aired a new episode in 10 years," he continued.
He also stated that "quintessentially British humor and genres really do strike a special chord." when seeing those famous British shows in the list.
The poll happened with 150 shows options selected by Digital Spy.
Despite being named as the top, the final season of Game of Thrones was widely panned by fans and critics alike, while its ending was a reception.
As HBO was set to make the final season of Game of Thrones, which commissioned five pilots from different writers. However, only House Of The Dragon has moved forward to series.
That pilot's cast includes Naomi Watts, Miranda Richardson and Jamie Campbell Bower, written by Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and directed by S.J. Clarkson (The Defenders).
