'Smashing records and raising over 5 million dollars,' he added, before thanking all of the attendees.

Although Chris and Elsa didn't stay for the after-party, their efforts for raising big bucks for the charity didn't go unnoticed.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the Thor hunk generously donated two tickets to the Sydney premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, which fetched $60,000 from a mystery buyer.

Event committee member Emma Cooper told the publication that the Hemsworths did a fantastic job of raising money for the good cause.
