Despite spending most of her time preparing for her own memoir which comes out at the end of September, Mariah Carey has given out a glimpse of her and her daughter Monroe Cannon on her Instagram.

Mariah posted two photos of her, which the second one was a sweet snap of her and her little daughter. The diva was seen showing her curly brown hair in a gorgeous selfie, while smiling ear to ear.

The All I Want For Christmas Is You singer wore a nude-peachy lip and stunning eye makeup. She donned a black top with an open gold colored collar and a silver bangles on her wrist.

Her 9-year-old daughter, Monroe meanwhile wore rose-rimmed spectacles and carried a white stuffed animal in the image. She was wearing orange glasses and adorably smiled, which looked exactly like her mother.

Just one heart emoji, as she simply captioned the post was enough.

Monroe Cannon has a twin sister, Moroccan Scott, who Mariah and her ex-husband, Nick Cannon shares together.

Nick was retired from Viacom/CBS, where he had a long-running contract because of the anti-semitic remarks that he supported and recently made on a recent podcast.

Mariah, on the other hand, is busy than ever as she is in the middle of her memoir's publish, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey" which is set to be on bookshelves on September 29th.

Mimi announced the official release date of her memoir in an Instagram post last week, with a caption fittingly accented with butterfly emojis.
