Wonder Girls member Woo Hyerim and taekwondo fighter Shin Min Chul officially tied the knot today in the congratulations of everyone.
Hyerim and Shin Min Chul held a private wedding ceremony somewhere in Gangnam, Seoul on July 5. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only close acquaintances such as family members, relatives and Wonder Girls members attended the event.
Unfortunately, their honeymoon will have to take place in the later future. The two first met in 2013 and began a public relationship for seven years.
Hyerim said through her agency RRR Entertainment, "July 5th felt so far away, but it came before I knew it. I am grateful to be able to have a wedding with the blessing of many people today. In fact, it was not an easy decision from revealing our love to revealing our marriage, but I am only thankful that many people along with my fans congratulated me. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the many people who have taken good care of us and supported our new start. Marriage is not an end but a new beginning. We'll live a pretty life. Thank you."
Hyerim became a new member of girl group Wonder Girls since their song '2 Different Tears' in 2010. In January, she signed a contract with RRR Entertainment, an agency founded by her fellow member Yubin, and is actively engaged in various activities.
