According to multiple K-pop officials, EXO Chanyeol participated in the title track 'Goodbye' of the 16th full album from veteran artist Lee Sun Hee, which will be released on June 15.
Lee Sun Hee will release her first full-length album in about six years since her 30th-anniversary album 'Serendipity' in 2014. In the title track of the upcoming album, 'Goodbye', Lee Sun Hee will work with Chanyeol to showcase a new combination of senior and junior singers in the K-pop scene.
Lee Sun Hee worked with Tiger JK for the title track 'You Too' of her 14th full-length album released in 2009, and was with Kanto through the title track 'Neighborhood' of her 15th full-length album released in 2014. However, Chanyeol is the first idol singer to collaborate with the artist in her 36-year career.
Chanyeol has been active since his debut as a member of the boy group EXO. The group swept the year-end awards for five consecutive years and became the talk of the town as an leading idol group. Last year, Chanyeol formed a unit with fellow member Sehun to showcase another aspect of their music. He also expanded his spectrum as an actor by reaching out to acting.
