Singer BoA will reportedly coach 'Voice Korea 2020', a singing competition from Mnet, based on the world-famous 'The Voice' franchise.
According to a Joy News24 report on April 27th, BoA confirmed her appearance on Mnet's 'Voice Korea 2020', as she will be one of the coaches.
'Voice Korea 2020' is a Korean version of the original Dutch reality television competition 'THE VOICE'.
It is a program that focuses solely on music, depicting the process of coaches consisting of Korea's top musicians selecting team members only by their voices, and help them grow into the best vocalists.
In season 1 and season 2, Shin Seung Hun, Baek Ji Young, Gil and Kangta joined the show as the coaches. And in this third season, BoA will be one of the artist to form a powerful lineup.
BoA, who marks the 20th anniversary of her debut this year, has been a judge of SBS' competition show 'K-pop Star' season 1 and season 2, the host for Mnet's famoust 'Produce 101' season 2, and a fan master of SBS' "The Fan'. She has given great influence to participants with her cool-headed screening and extraordinary insight based on her diverse experiences.
Attention is focusing on BoA's strong presence at 'Voice Korea 2020' and her great performance as a coach.
Jang Sung Kyu will be the host of 'Voice Korea 2020'. The program will premiere at 7:30 PM KST on May 29.
