Boy group MONSTA X has postponed their overseas tour '2020 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR IN US/CANADA', which was scheduled for July, in the aftermath of COVID-19.
MONSTA X's agency Starship Entertainment revealed on their official SNS on May 14 that "We now announce the postponement of the '2020 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR IN US/CANADA' performance."
The agency said, "We ask for your understanding that we have decided to postpone the U.S.-Canada tour, which was scheduled for June-July, in order to put top priority on protecting the health of visitors, our artists and staff amid the continuous increase in the number of confirmed cases around the world of COVID-19."
They continued, "We plan to secure a new performance schedule while keeping an eye on the situation so that we can hold the concert again, after the coronavirus situation is controlled."
