Netflix's newly produced original series 'All of Us Are Dead' has confirmed the appearance of Yoon Chan Young, Park Ji Hoo, Jo Yi Hyun, Park Solomon and Yoo In Soo.
'All of Us Are Dead', which tells the story of people stranded at a high school in a city where the zombie virus spread, and those trying to save them while going through an impossible situation, confirmed the casting of five new actors.
Yoon Chan Young starred as a son of Song Yoon Ah in the drama 'Mama' and made a strong impression. He continued to perform in dramas such as 'Six Flying Dragons', 'Still 17', 'Doctor John', and 'Nobody Knows', as well as in movies 'Birthday' and 'The Fault Is Not Yours'. He will play the role of Chung San, an ordinary boy who does his best to protect his unrequited love Onjo at Hyosan High School, where the zombie virus spread.
Park Ji Hoo, who debuted last year with the film 'House of Hummingbird' and emerged as the most notable newcomer by winning the young actress award at the 18th Tribeca International Film Festival, will play Onjo, a girl who is the most popular at school with her easy-going and pleasant personality.
Jo Yi Hyun, who starred in the movie 'Metamorphosis' and showed extraordinary presence as Yoon Bok in the drama 'Hospital Playlist', will play Nam Ra, the top student in the school and class leader.
Park Solomon, who is known for his roles in the drama 'Lookout ' and 'Lookism', which was based on a popular Korean webtoon, will play the role of Soo Hyuk, who started studying belatedly, dreaming of becoming a soldier.
Yoo In Soo, who has been building her filmography step by step, including 'School 2017', 'Avengers Social Club', 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty' and 'Tale of Fairy' as well as 'Strong Girl Bong Soon', will play a student who is becoming more dangerous than a zombie to students isolated in the school.
'All of Us Are Dead' is based on the legendary popular webtoon 'Now At Our School' by Joo Dong Geun, and directed by Lee Jae Kyu, who has shown excellent directing skills in dramas 'Beethoven Virus', 'Damo: The Legendary Police Woman' and 'Intimate Strangers'. The screenplay is penned by Chun Sung Il, the writer of the dramas ‘Your Honor’, ‘The Slave Hunters’ and the movie ‘The Pirates’. Following the 'Kingdom' series, 'All of Us Are Dead' is adding to the curiosity by casting newcomers with solid acting skills and fresh charm.
