On November 27th, tvN said, "Lee Seo Jin, Yoon Yeo Jung, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Sik will appear on 'Youn's Kitchen 3'. The broadcast will be aired in January 2021."
'Youn's Kitchen 3' is a program in which actress Yoon Yeo Jung is the main chef, while Jung Yu Mi, Lee Seo Jin and Park Seo Joon set up a small Korean restaurant and run it together overseas. Starting with Bali, Indonesia in 2017, it operated in Garachico, Spain in 2018 and received great love.
Initially, 'Youn's Kitchen 3' was planned to film overseas like season 1 and 2, but production was delayed for a while earlier this year when the pandemic devastated the world.
Since then, the production team, which changed the filming location to South Korea, began filming somewhere last month. Unlike the previous seasons, where the filming site was quickly revealed, the filming location for this season is undisclosed. tvN explained that the reason is due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.
Since there have already been cases where people at the scene were tested positive to COVID-19, the filming schedule has been delayed, 'Youn's Kitchen 3' is also aimed at preventing the disease, working on the safety of the cast and staff. Also, as there are concerns over the spread of local infections, tvN said it is trying to prevent 'Youn's Kitchen 3' itself from becoming a nuisance to the local community.
Meanwhile, Choi Woo Sik will be newly added to the existing members, expanding the lineup. As the show is being filmed in South Korea, there is a possibility of other stars making guest appearances, but this is just fans' speculation.
'Youn's Kitchen 3', which will come back about two years after season 2, will air sometime in January next year.
