Big Hit Labels has canceled its offline performance for the '2021 NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE' due to the raised social distance control caused by COVID-19.

Big Hit Labels, which was preparing for an offline performance on December 7 for the family concert '2021 NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE Presented by Weverse', announced on the fan community platform Weverse that it has decided to cancel the offline parts of the concert for the safety of artists and fans, as the level of social distance following the re-proliferation of COVID-19 has been raised.

As a result, the performance will only be conducted through online live streaming without offline audience. Big Hit added, "We would like to apologize to the fans who have been looking forward to the offline performance, and please understand that the decision was made to create a safe environment for the performers by following the government's quarantine guidelines."

'2021 NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE' is the first joint concert held by Big Hit Entertainment after acquiring and merging with Source Music and Pledis Entertainment. A total of seven artists will appear on the show, including Lee Hyun, Bumsoo, NU'EST, BTS, GFRIEND, TXT and ENHYPEN.
The event will be held on December 31 (Thursday) at 9:30 PM KST as an online performance.
