Girls’ Generation members YoonA, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sunny, and Hyoyeon are staying with SM Entertainment and decided to renew their contracts with the agency.
On September 8, a source from SM Entertainment revealed, “Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sunny, and Hyoyeon have renewed their contract. We will support the members so that they can actively promote in various fields in the future.”
After making their debut in 2007 with “Into the New World,” Girls’ Generation continued to release numerous hits including “Genie,” “Gee,” “I Got A Boy,” “Lion Heart,” and more.
In 2017, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, Seohyun, and Tiffany parted ways with SM Entertainment and joined new agencies while YoonA, Taeyeon, Yuri, Sunny, and Hyoyeon decided to remain and renew with SM Entertainment.
Currently, the Girls’ Generation members are busy promoting as singers, actresses, DJs, and more.
