YG Entertainment has released another brief statement regarding discussions of the BLACKPINK members’ contract renewal.

YG Entertainment has released another brief statement regarding discussions of the BLACKPINK members’ contract renewal.
According to industry insiders on September 21, BLACKPINK member Rosé signed an agreement to renew her contract with YG Entertainment. The remaining three members including Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa are reportedly negotiating to transfer to other agencies while participating in BLACKPINK activities for six months of each year.
In response to the report, YG Entertainment released a short statement saying, “Currently, BLACKPINK’s contract renewal has not been confirmed and is being discussed.”
BLACKPINK’s previous contracts with YG Entertainment ended last month.
