YG Entertainment has released a brief statement regarding details about BLACKPINK members’ contract renewal.

Earlier on December 6, YG Entertainment officially announced that all four members of BLACKPINK have signed exclusive contracts for group activities with the agency.
However, uncertainties persist regarding individual exclusive contracts for members outside group activities, and the specifics of their upcoming comeback schedule and contract duration continue to be subjects of interest.
On the same day, a representative from YG shared, “It’s difficult to provide details [about the comeback schedule and contract duration],” and emphasized, “For now, please kindly refer to the official statement only.”
Regarding the individual contracts of the members, the YG representative briefly stated, “Discussions are still ongoing.”
