YG Entertainment’s new girl group has officially burst onto the K-pop scene!
On November 27 at midnight KST, BABYMONSTER made their highly-anticipated debut with their first digital single “BATTER UP.”
BABYMONSTER’s Asa co-wrote the music and lyrics for “BATTER UP,” while some of her famous YG Entertainment labelmates contributed to the lyrics. In addition to Asa, the song’s lyrics were penned by Jared Lee, YG, TREASURE’s Choi Hyun Suk, AKMU’s Lee Chanhyuk, WHERE THE NOISE, and BIGTONE, while the music was co-composed by Chaz Mishan, YG DEE.P, Jared Lee, and Asa.
Ahead of their official debut, BABYMONSTER previously released a pre-debut song called “DREAM” this past May.
