The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from April 22 to May 22.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 7,918,844 for May. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jimin,” “Jungkook,” and “Itaewon,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “record,” “apologize,” and “decline.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 53.89 percent positive reactions.
Oh My Girl rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 4,825,371, marking an impressive 100.33 percent increase in their score since April.
Finally, EXO came in third place for the month with a brand reputation index of 4,431,927 for May.
