1. Red Velvet Irene
Ranking at the top is Red Velvet's original visual, Irene! The female idol received 943 votes, which is 5.3% of the total votes. Though she was absent from this ranking in 2020, Irene ranked at number 2 in 2019, proving how popular she is among queers in South Korea.
2. WJSN Seola
WJSN member Seola ranked at number two with 730 votes, or 4.1% of the total tally. Seola ranked at number ten in last year's ranking, meaning she shot up in popularity in just a year!
3. Red Velvet Seulgi
The second Red Velvet member to make the list is Seulgi, who received 719 votes, or 4.1% of the total vote count. Seulgi has always been popular among South Korean queer women, ranking at number six in 2020 and number one in 2019!
4. MAMAMOO Moonbyul
MAMAMOO's main rapper Moonbyul took home fourth place with 580 votes, meaning Moonbyul received approximately 3.3% of the total vote tally. In last year's version of this list, the MAMAMOO member ranked at number-eight while ranking at number three in 2019.
5. (G)I-DLE Miyeon
Miyeon of (G)I-DLE ranked at fifth place with 500 votes, or 2.8 of the total vote count. This is the first time the "Last Dance" songstress has ranked within the top ten, showing her booming popularity!
6. MAMAMOO Wheein
Wheein received 483 votes, which is 2.7% of the total votes, securing the sixth place spot. In last year's rankings, Wheein ranked at number nine while ranking at number five in 2019.
7. ITZY Ryujin
Ryujin of ITZY amassed 475 votes for this survey, which is 2.7% of the total votes. Ranking at seventh place, this is the first time Ryujin has ranked within the top ten of this survey.
8. Red Velvet Wendy
The third Red Velvet to make it within the top ten is Wendy! The "Like Water" singer received 468 votes, which is 2.6% of the total votes. While she did not rank in the 2020 version of this list, she ranked at number eight in the 2019 counterpart.
9. aespa Karina
Karina, one of the hottest rookie idols this year, ranked at number nine with 438 votes, or 2.5% of the total vote tally. This is the first time Karina, or any aespa member, has ranked within the survey's top ten.
10. WJSN Bona
The final female idol to make the top ten is another WJSN member — Bona! Bona received 383 votes, which is 2.2% of the total votes. The WJSN member did not rank within the top ten in the previous years.
