Super Junior’s Donghae And Eunhyuk Establish Their Own Agency After Leaving SM
Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk have set up their own entertainment agency together!
Back in July, SM Entertainment announced that while Super Junior renewed their group contract, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun opted not to renew their individual contracts with the agency.
On September 1, it was reported that Eunhyuk and Donghae had launched their own agency called ODE Entertainment. According to industry insiders, Eunhyuk and Donghae’s exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment had expired on August 31 and the two officially assumed the roles of co-CEOs at ODE Entertainment on September 1.
Additionally, a source close to the two reportedly revealed, “Eunhyuk and Donghae, who have been close friends for a long time, have established the company together. They plan to continue their individual activities as well as their D&E duo activities under ODE Entertainment.” The source added, “They are also considering recruiting new artists once the company is fully established.”
The source went on to say, “Although their exclusive contracts with SM have ended, both of them have a deep affection for Super Junior. They plan to always participate in Super Junior’s group activities.”
The same day, an official from ODE Entertainment confirmed, “Following the expiration of their contracts with SM Entertainment, Donghae and Eunhyuk have founded ODE Entertainment and taken on the role of co-CEOs.”
Super Junior’s manager Won Yong Sun, who appeared with them on MBC variety show “The Manager,” has also joined the new agency.
