C9 Entertainment announced on March 2 that the first member of their upcoming new boy group 'C9ROOKIES' will be Keum Donghyun and released his profile image on their official SNS channel.
C9ROOKIES is a new boy group that will be introduced in 2 years after CIX at C9 Entertainment, which is managing singers Younha, Lee Seok Hoon, and CIX.
Keum Donghyun, who made his face known to the public through Mnet's survival show 'Produce X 101', ranked 8th in the final ranking with his handsome visuals and excellent stage manners. However, due to the vote manipulation, he wasn't added to the project group X1. Since then, Keum Donghyun has continued to communicate with fans through various routes, including solo photo shoots. He even achieved 300 million hearts on V LIVE, showing off his position as a "communication fairy".
Last year, the boy challenged his first acting role as a lovely young man, Kang Ah Hoon, in the web drama 'Best Mistake 2 ', giving off a bouncy charm and drawing attention from the public.
