Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 5!

NewJeans topped this week’s chart with their new mini album “Get Up,” marking their first-ever No. 1 on the World Albums chart. “Get Up” also debuted at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart, Top Current Album Sales chart, and Billboard 200, where NewJeans became only the second female K-pop artist in history to reach No. 1.

Meanwhile, the group’s self-titled 2022 debut EP “New Jeans” also remained on the World Albums chart at No. 9, marking its 31st non-consecutive week on the chart.

After four non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, Stray Kids’ latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” dropped to No. 2 on the World Albums chart this week, in addition to becoming the group’s first album ever to spend eight weeks on the Billboard 200.

ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “DARK BLOOD” climbed back up to No. 4 in its ninth week on the World Albums chart, and it also become the group’s first album to chart for eight consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200.

aespa’s “MY WORLD” stayed strong at No. 5 in its fourth week on the World Albums chart, in addition to spending a fourth consecutive week in the top 110 of the Billboard 200.

LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN” climbed back up to No. 6 in its 13th week on the World Albums chart, while ATEEZ’s “THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW” followed at No. 7 in its sixth week.

BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” rose to No. 8 in its 59th consecutive week on the chart, trailed by SEVENTEEN’s “FML” at No. 10 (now in its 14th week).

TWICE’s “READY TO BE” took No. 11 in its 20th week on the chart, while BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” ranked No. 12 in its 18th week.

Finally, TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” came in at No. 13 in its 26th consecutive week on the chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting album of 2023.
