Five months after its release, NewJeans’ “Get Up” is climbing back up the Billboard 200!

Back when it was first released, NewJeans’ latest mini album “Get Up” made history by debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, making the girl group the fastest female K-pop artist ever to enter the chart.

For the week ending on December 23, “Get Up” rose 18 spots on the Billboard 200 to No. 138 in its 21st consecutive week on the chart.

Notably, “Get Up” is only the second K-pop girl group album ever to spend 21 weeks on the chart, following BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” (which enjoyed a 26-week run on the chart after its release back in 2020).

NewJeans is also only the third K-pop artist in history to chart an album for 21 weeks (following BTS and BLACKPINK).

Outside of the Billboard 200, “Get Up” held steady at No. 4 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to climbing back up to No. 25 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 36 on the Top Album Sales chart.

Meanwhile, NewJeans continued to chart multiple songs on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, where “Super Shy” came in at No. 95, “Ditto” at No. 133, “OMG” at No. 159, and “GODS” at No. 166. “Super Shy” also ranked No. 163 in its 23rd week on the Global 200.

Congratulations to NewJeans!
