Last month, DC Inside, a South Korean internet forum, conducted a poll for seven days, from April 18 to April 24, asking its community, "Who is the star that looks intimidating, but seems to have a soft personality in reality?"

It is not a secret that plenty of idol stars exude different auras and personalities when they are both on and off stage, especially when they have certain concepts as a group or performance themes. In fact, their personalities and auras can be so different from when they are on stage as compared to when they are off stage that some fans get surprised with the sudden change!

BTS's Jin Ranks First as the Idol Who Looks Intimidating But is Actually a Total Softie

According to netizens, BTS's oldest member Jin, is the idol who looks the most intimidating but is actually a total softie deep down! Jin swept the polls by taking half of the votes (50 percent) and accumulated 7,819 votes out of 15,734 votes from the community.

Netizens have pointed out that the "Life Goes On" singer has a straight and neat appearance that made him seem difficult to approach at first. And we can't blame them - he does look quite intimidating!

Taking in the second spot as the idol who looks intimidating but is a total softie is none other than MAMAMOO's youngest member, Hwasa! The "Maria" singer took 3 percent of the poll, garnering 470 of the votes out of 15,734 votes from the community.

Known to have one of the most powerful vocals in the K-Pop industry, Hwasa, whose English name is Maria, dominates her performances on the stage with her amazing and strong stage presence. In addition, she is also known for her sexy and intense makeup with her signature arched brows and deep smokey eyes.

However, fans got to know that Hwasa is actually quite playful and innocent, thanks to her appearance on MBC's "I Live Alone," where she showed off her everyday life - which is like watching a 24-hour mukbang show - featuring the real her!
