Based on a webtoon, “Dear X” follows the story of Baek Ah Jin (Kim Yoo Jung), a renowned actress who achieves success by using others, only to experience a subsequent downfall. In addition to depicting the two faces of Baek Ah Jin, the drama portrays the romance of Yoon Joon Seo (Kim Young Dae) who chooses hell in order to protect her.
In his special appearance, Hwang In Yeop will play top star Heo In Kang, an idol-turned-actor who achieves great success with every project he stars in. Behind the glitz and glamor, however, lies his relentless tenacity and a deep sense of insecurity. Facing sudden burnout, Heo In Kang wants to give up on everything, but he gradually begins to change after meeting Baek Ah Jin. Having impressed through “True Beauty,” “The Sound of Magic,” and “Why Her?” viewers are looking forward to Hwang In Yeop’s transformation in “Dear X.”
Producing director (PD) Lee Eung Bok of “Sweet Home,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” and “Descendants of the Sun” will be producing his first TVING drama through “Dear X.” Recently, it was confirmed that Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Young Dae, Kim Do Hoon, and Lee Yul Eum will be starring as the drama’s leads.
Currently, Hwang In Yeop is also gearing up to star in his upcoming drama “Family by Choice.”
