TEEN TOP's agency, TOP Media, said on December 2, "After UP10TION Bitto was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on November 30, the two TEEN TOP members (Ricky and Changjo) who might have made contact with him were tested immediately on that day and both were confirmed negative on December 1."
They added, "The other two members (CAP and Niel) did not conduct the test because there was no contact (with Bitto), and there was no possibility of a second contact, but as they participated in the recording ('Yoo Hee Yeol's Sktechbook') where an artist was confirmed positive on November 24, they then conducted the COVID-19 test on December 2, and all of them were confirmed negative today."
Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, members of DAY6 unit DAY6 (Even Of Day), also had negative results for COVID-19.
"Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon received negative results from the COVID-19 test," JYP Entertainment, their agency, said in an official statement on December 2. "Starting today, we are going to continue our normal schedule."
Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon participated in the 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' on a different day than EVERGLOW, but they conducted the test as a preemptive response.
Yoo Hee Yeol, the host of the show himself, has been tested negative for COVID-19.
The agency Antenna said that all of the staff members who accompanied Yoo Hee Yeol to the recording were tested negative on December 2 as well.
"Yoo Hee Yeol has never had any abnormal symptom, but he voluntarily underwent a COVID-19 test on December 1 in order to preemptively respond to the news of a confirmed case in the recording of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'," the agency said, adding that he will postpone all scheduled activities this week and carry out self-quarantine for the time being.
"We will continue to follow the health authorities' quarantine guidelines and put the health and safety of artists and staff first," Antenna said.
In addition, singer Gummy and Kim Hyun Chul, who recorded 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' on the same day as EVERGLOW, were tested negative for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, EVERGLOW members, except for Yiren and Sihyeon, have been tested negative, but they, as well as all the employees who have contacted all of the members, will go into self-quarantine for two weeks.
